Why Algeria, why now
Bridge IT exists because of a gap that's obvious once you see it: France has more tech work than it can staff, and Algeria has more tech talent than it has direct access to French clients.
The gap in plain terms
French companies compete for a shrinking pool of local developers, driving up costs and hiring timelines. Meanwhile, Algeria's engineering schools and self-taught developer community keep growing, but most of that talent has no direct channel to international clients beyond crowded freelance platforms. Bridge IT is a direct line between the two, without the noise in between.
The advantages are structural, not incidental
French-speaking by default
Algeria's education system and much of its business culture operate in French. There's no translation layer between a French client and an Algerian team.
Minimal time difference
Algeria sits one hour behind France in summer and matches it in winter. Meetings and hand-offs happen live, not overnight.
A growing, underused talent pool
A steady stream of engineering graduates and self-taught developers, many with limited access to well-paid international work.
Costs that make sense for smaller teams
Strong engineering talent at rates accessible to startups and SMEs, not only large enterprises.
Where things stand today
Bridge IT is currently in development. We're onboarding the first companies and talents directly, one conversation at a time, before opening more broadly.
